Le samedi, c’est une journée libre dans la famille.
Le matin nous avons pu dormir un peu plus, puis nous sommes allées à Rochefort avec Caroline, Heleen et Nadia.

L’après-midi il ne faisait pas très beau et nous sommes allées faire du cheval.
Le soir nous avions organisé une soirée chez Caroline. Il y avait Mathilde, Nadia, Heleen, Caroline, Titouan, Steven, Boris et Peter.


Saturday 11th November 2006

Saturday is a free day in the family.
In the morning, we could sleep a bit more and we went to Rochefort with Caroline, Heleen and Nadia.

In the afternoon, the weather wasn’t really good and we went horse-riding.
In the evening we organised a party at Caroline’s place. There were Mathilde, Nadia, Heleen, Caroline, Titouan, Steven, Boris and Peter.

Vendredi 10 Novembre 2006

Nous sommes partis vers 9 heures du collège pour aller passer la journée à La Rochelle. Le matin nous avons visité le port de plaisance en bus et à pieds. Il ne faisait pas très froid et sa sentait bon la mer ! Nous avons mangé tous ensemble près des deux tours, après avoir résolu un problème mathématique. Nous avions un peu de temps libre après manger, nous pensions faire des groupes franco-néerlandais, mais les Hollandais sont partis sans nous. Ce fut dommage de ne pas partager ce moment, du coup on s’est un peu ennuyé. Ensuite, nous avons repris le car et avons fini la visite de La Rochelle par un port que peu d’entre nous connaissait, le port de pêche ; c’était intéressant. Nous sommes rentrés à 16h30.

We left the college towards 9 a.m. to go and spend the day in La Rochelle. In the morning we visited the Minime’s port by bus and on foot. The weather was not very cold and the sea smelled good! We were all together close to the two towers, after having solved a mathematical problem. We had a bit free time after eating, we thought of making Franco-Dutch groups, but the Dutch left without us. It was annoying not to share this moment, so we were a bit bored. Then, we took again the bus and finished the visit of La Rochelle by a port that nobody knew, the fishing port; it was interesting. We came back at 16h30.
