Ce matin, les Français et les Néerlandais sont allés à la Corderie Royale.
Nous avons commencé la visite avec d’un côté les Français et de l’autre les Néerlandais. Il y avait deux guides, une pour nous les Français et l’autre pour les Néerlandais. Le guide des Hollandais parlait en anglais.
Ce qui sentait bon dans cet endroit, c’était l’odeur du chanvre. Comme si on était à l’époque où les fabricants nous préparaient quelques cordages. On a même pu voir la nouvelle exposition à la fin du petit musée !
Après la visite de la Corderie, nous sommes allés à l’Hermione. Sympa !
Ce midi, nous sommes partis sur l’île d’Oléron avec Mr Lalis et nous avons déjeuné dans le bus pour aller au char à voile, nous le groupe 2-B. C’est sympa. Beaucoup n’en avait jamais fait. On a fait des petits circuits sur le sable…
Les Hollandais était contents. Nous sommes rentrés à Rochefort et nous sommes repartis à Saintes tous ensemble pour faire du bowling : il y a environ 40 min de route pour y aller. Nous étions tous en groupes de 6 (3français et 3 néerlandais) Nous pensons que c’est Jennifer, la correspondante de Manon qui avait fait le plus gros score avec 123 points ! Après cette rigolote partie, nous avons pu faire du billard.
Nous sommes allés au Mc Do. Euhmm ! C’était bon. Quand le repas était fini, nous sommes allés rejoindre les autres dans les jeux pour enfants. C’était mignon !
De retour à Rochefort, en car, et les parents nous attendaient. Il était 22h30 et c’était l’heure de rentrer !

This morning, the French people and the Dutch people went to the Corderie Royale.
We began the visit with the Dutch people on one side, and the French people on the other side.
There were two guides, the French one and another one for the Dutch people. The guide for the Dutch people spoke in English.
We smelt a nice smell, the smell of hemp that the manufacturers made at the time, the smell of rope. We could see the new exhibition at the end of the small museum! After the visit of the Corderie, we went to see the Hermione. Enjoyable!
This midday, we went to the island Oléron with Mr. Lalis, and we lunched in the bus, and we went to the tank to veil, for the 2-B group. We raced small circuits on the beach...
We were content. We return to Rochefort and we set out again in Saintes all together to go bowling, and it took 40 minutes to be there. We were in groups of 6 (3 French groups and 3 Dutch groups) and we think that it is Jennifer, the corresponding one of Manon, which made the largest score with 123 points! After this funny part, we played pool.
Then, we went to the MC Donald’s, what was very good. When the meal was finished, we amused in the playroom for children. It was very nice ! When we returned to Rochefort the parents were waiting for us.

Wednesday 8 November morning
We went to the beach to do sand-yacht on the beach. That was good. It was a bit boring because we do the all the same, we only drove cirkels. There was not enaugh wind to go fast.
Afternoon: we go to an other beach, at Fouras, where it was a party from Titouan, Steven, Hubert, Ruben, Caroline, Heleen, Mathilde, Nadia, Boris, Peter, Quentin, Jonne.
Is was Titouan birthday! After the party Titouan, Boris and Hubert swim.
Mercredi 8 novembre le matin
Nous sommes allés a la plage pour faire du char a voile. C’était bien. C’était un peu ennuyeux car nous n’avions pas le droit d’utiliser toute la plage, Seulement de rouler en cercle. Il n’y avait pas beaucoup de vent, donc nous ne pouvions pas aller vite.
L’après-midi, nous sommes allés sur une autre plage, à Fouras, pour faire un match de football avec Titouan, Steven, Hubert, Ruben, Caroline, Heleen, Mathilde, Nadia, Boris, Peter, Quentin, Jonne.
C’était l’anniversaire de Titouan ! Après le match, Titouan, Boris et Hubert se sont baignés.

At this day, in the morning, we cooked typical french food. Things like quiche Lorraine and “galettes charentaises”. First we had to put on some other clothes. After that we walked to the kitchen. We had to cook in teams of 2 Dutch pupils and 2 french pupils. When the food was ready we tasted all the food. It tasted really good. In the afternoon we went to the city of Rochefort. In the city we just walked around and went to some stores. At the end of the day the whole group sat at the square in Rochefort for about 30 minutes. After that we walked to the school again and we went to our homes.

Ce matin là, nous avons cuisiné typiquement français. De la quiche Lorraine et des galettes charentaises. D'abord nous avons dû changer de vêtements. Ensuite nous sommes allés à la cuisine. Nous avons cuisiné par groupe de deux, hollandais et français. Quand la nourriture était prête, nous avons goûté toute la nourriture. C’était vraiment bon. L'après-midi nous sommes allés dans la ville de Rochefort. Nous nous sommes promenés en ville et nous sommes allés dans quelques magasins. À la fin de la journée, le groupe entier s'est assis place Colbert pendant environ trente minutes. Ensuite, nous avons marché jusqu’à l'école et nous sommes rentrés chez nous.
